The Brontë Parsonage Museum, home to the Brontë family 1820 -1861, houses the world’s largest collection of Brontë material and offers an inspirational and evocative experience for people of all ages.
The Museum is open every day and can be reached from Hebden Bridge using the 500 Brontë Bus’ service. Special interest groups can enhance their visit by pre-booking a walk or talk. The Museum also presents a regularly changing programme of exhibitions, contemporary arts events and family activities. The Museum is celebrating the bicentenary of the birth of Charlotte Brontë throughout 2016 and highlights include a new exhibition, ‘Charlotte Great and Small’, curated by Tracy Chevalier.
