How to be a Craftivist – The art of gentle protest Book Launch Image

We are proud to welcome Sarah Corbett back to The Egg Factory for an evening of lively discussion with Helen Meller, Director of the Hebden Bridge Arts Festival and to launch her new book How to be a Craftivist.

In these times of social, political and economic uncertainty, a new handbook is offering citizens the opportunity to take part in a quiet but powerful form of activism that provokes collaboration and conversation in place of division and conflict.

How to be a Craftivist: The Art of Gentle Protest has been designed to help people use craftivism (craft + activism) to thread love, humility and beauty through their activism instead of hate, ugliness or aggression.

This ticket is for general admission, choose the £15 option if you’d like a copy of the book included at a discount price of £10 for collection on the night (usually £12.99)

Sarah will be available to sign the book before and after the event and we will have refreshments and drinks available from our pop-up bar.
