A collaboration between artist Trudi Entwistle and sound recordist Paul Ratcliff, Hebden Water is a soundscape and photographic narrative that leads us along a watercourse from the valley bottom to a high point in the surrounding moors.

A water-themed sculpture trail and open air exhibition created by the pupils of Hebden Royd Primary School. Located at the site of the Lumb Mill Chimney in Colden Clough Local Nature Reserve.

A collaboration between the Festival, Square Chapel, Calderdale Theatre School and Beacon Actors Company, Calderdale Young Shorts 2017 is providing playwriting workshops in local schools, leading to performances of a selection of the plays in Halifax and in Hebden Bridge on 28 June.

The Weaving Women’s Wisdom exhibition was launched by Touchstone in Bradford in the spring of 2015. The project worked alongside 20 groups in Britain and Pakistan, to enable women to converse differently about matters of life and faith.
